I just learned the cute little piece.....Going to play it in concert soon.

Sounds very stylish, I must say!

The harder bits could be a bit more charming...more leggiero.

But that honky-tonk piano wasn't doing you any favours either.

Hopefully as I perform it a few times, I will be able to play it a bit lighter.
It's hard to play this piece without remembering Rachmaninoff's marvelous recording from 1942, which is unfortunately cut. He tried to record it in the 20's actually, but didn't approve the takes...

I suspect this will be the case naturally!

I'm not familiar with Rachmaninoff's recording of it.

I'd love to hear you play more Chopin! Some of the really lyrical stuff would be interesting!

very nicely articulated. I prefer the sound first recording with the Brown grand.
