Certainly a very competent performance, but it was a little fast for my ears.
Have you ever tried playing a harpsichord? They are very difficult to play fast on, much more so than the piano.
So in my opinion, this music wasn't composed to be a race. It is more dance-like!
Playing it so quickly damages the dance-spirit that is so integral to the piece.
The only pianist who could play it quickly without making it sound rushed was Glenn Gould.... because he had such clarity and control of nuance in the tone!
Also, I think you need to listen to your LH a bit more. The LH trill didn't sound as strong as the RH trill-it was noticeably slower!

Thanks for the feedback! Gould is my idol and one of the reasons I got into playing Bach. I feel I can keep that temp comfortably but agree I want it to sound more musical and nuanced. Usually I would make a few recordings but I just set the phone to record and started playing lol. So in sum, rather than slowing the tempo down I want to be more nuanced and bring that dance like spirit. I agree the l hand trill was slower. Still, I felt it had good clarity. Thanks again for your comment. :-)

Fantastic! Sounds like a great project. I look forward to hearing more.
I don't think it NEEDS to be slower.... just somehow more dance-like.
Have you ever played a harpsichord?
Also, have you ever read about the concept of notes inégales?
This article does not appear to be very comprehensive on the subject, but would certainly give you a start:

A useful and quite practical and readable article on these can be found
here
.
This is a practice which has been much neglected, except in jazz, over quite a long time and deserves much greater awareness and appreciation.
