brahms intermezzo op. 117 no. 3
on: May 12, 2014, 11:48:46 PM
Hi all,

I finally finished learning the piece and fixing up the things I've been working on, and I was hoping for some feedback ... looking to keep working on anything that still needs improvement. Thanks!

1. Tempo should be much faster to help express the anguish.
1. Melodic chords should be accented on downbeats, e.g. Ta-te TA

will do for the tempo. I realized that I played really slowly after I listened to it

for the second one, though, someone actually advised me to play more 'horizontally' and avoid accenting every downbeat (especially around measure 7ish) because it sounded more thump, thump ... I was actually doing a lot of the accented downbeat thing, but I stopped doing it.
