Ossia or no?

I am actually talking about the 2nd concert etude (from 3 concert etudes) by Franz Liszt.

Comments or concerns?

The second of Two Concert Etudes S.145 (Gnomenreigen) or the second of Three Concert Etudes S.144 (La leggierezza)?

I'd say it depends on how good your chromatic thirds are. I prefer it played using the ossia, but only if those thirds really sparkle.

Awesome!! I've actually had been working on thirds for quite some time. Even worked quite a few Bach prelude and fugues, and really had to focus on my attack and release of harmonic intervals...
