Give me more info on Asian honorifics

Please.  :P

We've got "Nils" here.  I think  Nils=Mr.

I saw a name badge recently with someone I was thinking may have been the same for an Asian name.  I think that's the same thing.  Honorific.

Cultural glitch.  I find it amusing.

What's the equivalent of Mr./Mrs./Ms., sir, ma'am, etc. in Asian cultures?  Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.

I don't think there are honorifics in Chinese.  In Japanese, you use different language, honorific language.

I'm still  not following.  You've seen enough anime to know where this thread is going?  What do you mean?

It means that using logistics I can predict more or less where the thread is going to end, based on exaggerated conclusions draw from anime. Naturally I forgot that (sadly) the forums seems a bit stagnated of late

What's wrong with just searching for Korean Honorifics, Japanese Honorifics, Chinese Honorifics? Wikipedia has a page on each of them, and each has a long list of pages to read through specifically on the subject.

I didn't know Wikipedia had entries on it.

It's not anything from anime.  I've wondered about it in real life.
