Piano Concert Improvisation

Heres an improvisation I did at the end of a concert I did last week :)

My comments about your playing in the audition room apply here, as I suspect for you the distinction between composition and improvisation is as blurred as it is with me.

I face a difficulty here, as I am tempted to suggest that you experiment beyond the domain of primary harmony. However, it might be that in your case, simple harmony, simple melodic phrase, is so much the essence of your musical self that extension into complexity would hinder rather than help creative flow. On the other hand, I suppose in a certain sense, any knowledge cannot harm. Decisions like this are yours and yours alone.

Comments aside, I always enjoy your playing, and I like that odd note at 1:21- 1:29 - excellent ! I savour such events in my own playing, intended or otherwise.
