Left hand can be louder, especially in the beginning where the RH is too loud.  That melody is a bit too decisive for the mood, it's too strict in rhythm and the articulation accents the melody too much in the beginning.  In general, when you accent the downbeat too much, you end up measuring the pace, which prevents forward momentum.  Especially in this piece, forward momentum is important for the flow of ideas to be presented clearly.
