Looking for a particular technique method/exercises
on: June 13, 2014, 12:29:29 AM
My memory is massively failing me at the moment.
I'm look for a particular technique method/exercise.
(Not Fraser, Sandor, or Fink)
I believe the man that was self-taught and European. I believe the dvd and/or book wasn't published in English yet or was difficult to obtain internationally?
Some forum member here attended a lecture by the guy and posted his notes in pdf format I believe on this forum somewhere that described the 15 or so exercises.

Peter Feuchtwanger, maybe? There are several topics about him and his exercises on this forum. Please use the search function. Google will also give you plenty of results if you enter this:
site:pianostreet.com Feuchtwanger
There is also a clip on YouTube where the exercises are demonstrated. It's in German, but there are English subtitles available:

In this topic, Thorn actually gives a .pdf file with his teacher's handwritten exercises to download (1.3 MB). Thorn's teacher studied with P. Feuchtwanger)
Update 2:
Here is an article in English by the author himself that explains what the exercises are about:
