I'm glad to hear it. The compression rather spoils the outcome here.

Apologize for the negative comment, but no one is perfect out there (including myself, home amateur pianist who would not have the skills to play this).

Do I get the feeling the orchestra is both out of tune (especially the violins) and out of sync?

Or is it the Youtube compression (but if it was, the piano would sound out of tune too).

Nobody here Not many here post negative comments just to be negative. You should be open to honest comments. If you only want positive comments, there's always Youtube and Facebook.

Actually 1) I didn't comment on your interpretation or lack of unity between solo and orchestra, and 2) that recording is a joke done for a dare. That's why it's not titled, tagged, shared or posted anywhere besides the proper thread.

When you ..have contracts in the world, we can talk about piano!

When your "contracts" include a halfway decent sound engineer, perhaps we can.

If it actually IS the youtube compression, i dont know why you're posting it here.
Sorry for the bluntness, but it just sounds bloody horrible. This way nobody can comment something sensible either, except that the orchestra sounds quite out of tune and that the piano part doesnt sound really performance-ready either.
But yes, maybe its the compression.

When Practice Stagnates – Breaking the Performance Ceiling: Robotic Training for Pianists

“Practice makes perfect” is a common mantra for any pianist, but we all know it’s an oversimplification. While practice often leads to improvement, true perfection is elusive. But according to recent research, a robotic exoskeleton hand could help pianists improve their speed of performing difficult pianistic patterns, by overcoming the well-known “ceiling effect”.
