Today I injured my foot.    I tripped over in the street and had a sore foot.  I had to go to the hospital. They xrayed it and unfortunately I have fractured one of the bones in the side of the right foot.

The foot itself is not very painful but only when I try and walk, therefore I am not taking any painkillers.   However, I have been studying hard for my ABRSM piano exam which I am due to take on 16th July.  One of my exam pieces requires extensive pedalling all the way through and as you can imagine, with a fracture on my right foot, I cannot do any pedalling.   Since my exam is on 16th July and it takes 6 weeks for a fracture to heal, I fear that I will have to defer my exam until the next entry.    This make me sad because I worked so hard to get up to speed to pass. 

This is so unfortunate.

Contact ABRSM.  With a note from the doctor there may be something they can do.
