Some questions for Franck Prelude chorale et fugue
on: June 20, 2014, 09:12:56 PM
First of all, for the beginning of prelude, I find generally two ways to interpret 1:Play in a completely free style , they care only about the theme ,and for the accompaniment 32ths , it is super rapid but not quite clear (reference , like the 1st mov of sonatine of Ravel, in the beginning the little notes are just like a "back ground") 2 second way is to play every notes extremely clear et equal ,except for the theme which is of course more expressive . (Reference is , euh ,3rd mov of Ravel sonatine , the beginning ....)
Second question is for the choral.
The appegios pianissimo , in this part , you guys think that it will be better to make the appegios in or out of the beat?
