Easy(er) Rachmaninov?
on: July 12, 2014, 06:06:10 PM
So, before anyone immediately stabs me to death, I know that there is no such thing as easy Rach. But I have to do a Romantic piece for an exam, and I've done a ton of Chopin, and something extremely contrasting but something I love is wanted... So, Rach came to mind.
That said, what are considered the easiest pieces? I looked at his
Moment Musicaux
in e minor, thinking it would be easy (16/4).... Hahahaha I was proved wrong.
So, what are considered the easiest Rachmaninov piece?

Bach WTC Fugue 2

Op. 33 No. 9 in C# minor
Op. 39 No. 2 in A minor
Preludes:
