BUsoni Concerto

What do you think of this concerto? I recently got a recording of it and one of Balcom's. I must say that Busoni is 50x better than the balcom. I know that the busoni is impractible to play, but I think more people should learn it.

Impractible? What do you mean by that? Anyways, I love the Busoni Concerto. The second movement, Pezzo Giocoso, is simply so original, beautiful, and amazing!

impracticle in that it is hard to find a pianist who wants to play something that long, a conductor who wants to learn a new concerto and getting a choir to learn it. It can become a hassle.

and you also need a piano with extra keys...

Excellent! This concerto ranks among my favourite pieces of all time. I agree; it should be played more often (and I also agree that it is largely impractical to do so).
