advice before starting moonlight?
on: July 27, 2014, 01:39:06 AM
Hey all,
I'm about to start learning the moonlight sonata soon, and I was hoping for some advice / things to read / things to focus on as I learn the piece. It's my first "big piece" since I played the pathetique a while back, so I was hoping to start off on the right foot.
Thanks!

This is quite a good lecture:
Andras Schiff did an entire series on every Beethoven sonata! I always find masterclasses strange, because I'll be watching the student wondering what can be critiqued, but there's always a ton of things the pianist will go on about.
