Wolfie - Piano app for teachers/students
on: July 30, 2014, 07:32:08 AM
Hello,

Yesterday I came across a tablet-app called Wolfi. They say it is the next best thing for teachers and studends.
I have installed it but didn't have time to try it yet. From what I understand you can download scores and make notes on them, track your progress, record and playback (with the score following the music, I think it will also follow the score while playing live, they have their tracks in MIDI format).

Do you guys think something like this will get popular with students and teachers?
I think this could be good for the kids, they like techonology and with the progress report thingy they can compare with friend or impress their teachers.

When I have the time I'll try it out and give some feedback.

Greetings,

Hello Carl,

I'm using Wolfie and loving it. Have you had the chance to try it out with your students?

I'm going to also give this a look this evening. Could be useful. I particularly like making notes on scores, but dont like the whole pencil / rubber thing and dont like silly permanent notes over everything.

What I love is the feedback session. It really helps my students to practice well and motivate them.
