Favorite Scott Joplin?

Does anybody have any favorite ragtime pieces by Scott Joplin? Here are mine:
The Easy Winners, Cascades, Maple Leaf Rag, Entertainer, and Solace

I have been playing his music at a nursing home, and all the old people liked it; at home, I play his music for fun. :)

Joplin isn't my favorite thing to play, but I really enjoy listening to his music :)  My little brother loves ragtime though, and it's fun to listen and watch him having so much fun playing it!

Steve:
Joplin gave us a preciousl legacy! In addition to the rags you mention, I really like Heliotrope Bouquet, Paragon, Peacherine (quite easy), Gladiolus, Wall Street, Kismet, Swipesy, Euphonic Sounds and for a nostalgic piece that comes close to Schubert or Chopin in its elegant melancholy The Magnetic Rag. Fortunately we classical pianists are well equipped for his music.

The most elusive of all the Joplin rags is Elite Syncopations, especially in its second section where the tonality becomes very volatile, combined with interesting textural contrasts. It is well worth chasing up as there is nothing quite like it in the rest of Joplin's works.

Hi william!
I just got a book called Complete Piano Rags by Scott Joplin and I started playing the piece that you just mentioned! I like it a lot! I am going to keep practicing it! Thanks for the advice!
Take care,
Stephen

Gladiolus is a good one.  Fun left hand work.
So much music, so little time........

I'm not familiar with Scott Joplin's music but I'd like to hear and know more.  Is there anywhere on the internet that has scores for his music?

The website above has compositions by Scott Joplin, however they are written by someone else in an easy version. But you can get an idea of how they sound!
Take care everyone!

Some unmentioned favorites of mine are the Bethina Concert Waltz, the Augustan Club waltz and the Rosebud Waltz. I once heard a transcription for a string quintet for the Concert Waltz and I liked it.

Here's a link for some Joplin midi files:

I don't like ragtime music so much, but I know of Scott Joplin's life, and I admire him to much extent.

I like the Maple Leaf rag the most, but I only play classical piano.

Joplin was very talented musically and was very persistent.

Scott Joplin's compositions are also considered as classical.

A lot has been said above about Joplin above already, but I think it's worthwhile adding a couple of my conclusions and observations. Having played Joplin for many years, it can't be overstated enough that Joplin can be played so unmusically as to ruin anyone's opinion of him as an artist.  Generally speaking, Joplin should NEVER be played in strict time and mechanically. However, so many people tgink this is how ragtime is to be played and heard.

A casual reading through "A Ragtime Dance" for example will teach you that it makes no sense played mechanically. In fact, Joplin had a pronouinced nostalgic and sentimental side, reflected in many of the best rags. Maple Leaf is not a typical example of this..
Moreover, as to whether or not his music is "classic", the proof is in the longevity. We're still talking about his pieces now, and ithey're still played now. Enough said?

Solace, the Maple Leaf Rag, Lily Rag...  They're all fun to play.
Speaking of ragtime, has anyone heard of a Ragtime Pianist that works at Disneyland in California?  His name is Rod Miller.  He plays ragtime REALLY well and what's even more impressive is that he plays ragtime all by ear, not knowing how to read a single note of music.
