Voluntary Ban
on: November 29, 2004, 03:49:10 PM
I hereby pronounce Spatula to take a voluntary leave of absense for an undisclose amount of time from the Piano Forum.  This was decided after receiving several warnings from Nils regarding my posts.

This ban may last a week, but perhaps longer.  Please do not attempt to contact me until further notice.

Thank you,

Spatula.

The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. (Hunter Thompson)

It couldn't have been that bad, could it? Was it toward Julie by any chance?

Maybe Spatula took some time off to actually practice.

I know I for one spend way more time than I should reading this board when I should be practicing!  :)

maybe banning himself is his way of saying, "you guys are losers, I am going home..", kind of like how Cartman from South Park says something like that.  Maybe he simply got tired of the forum, and really has no intention of coming back.

Cartman says, "Screw you guys.  I'm going home."  Begins to sing, "Ooooooh! Kyle's mom is a big fat..."  :D

I don't know a hill of beans about Spat or anyone else here, as I just joined up.  But having been in some other not terribly moderated forums, I think your leader Nils deserves a round of applause for setting some standards.  Makes me think I may end up finding myself very comfortable here. :)

That said, Spat, I've seen a couple of your posts, and I can see why you have a bit of  a fan club. ;)  Forum life is oh so complicated.

julie was quite random, she was here for like a week and posted like crazy and then disappeared again. fascinating...maybe she'll return and post another 400 comments...and spatula will inconspicuously return as someone else...
