Liszt - Totentanz (by Cziffra and Benji)
on: August 15, 2014, 02:39:49 AM
Hi everyone! I do this topic to share something I think is a real wonder. I think this is one of the most important performances in the history of this piece, also with performances by Egon Petri, José Vienna da Mota or Valentina Lisitsa.

Cziffra let us a couple of versions of this Liszt's piece. This one is live with Roberto Benzi in 1962.

This is the "craziest" performance of this piece I've ever heard, it has the necessary bravery to peform this kind of works. If I try to imagine how Liszt would perform this, I always listen to Cziffra's performance.

I don't write anything else and I put the video. I hope you enjoy with this amazing musical experience!!  ;D
