Cziffra question
on: September 05, 2014, 12:03:18 AM
Does anyone know if a score, or a full video clip, exists for his Carmen improvisation?

Long shot, if either of the above exist I obviously don't expect anyone to post it publicly, but I'd appreciate any info anyone can come up with.

Not much help, but perhaps to aid in narrowing your search. It's not in the 2 Volumes of his transcriptions, nor does he appear to have recorded it.

Cziffra was a skilled improviser, so this may well be just a one off piece of fun.

Yeah, I already have the two Peters volumes (and some additional material not available in the traditional sense). I'm sure he didn't record it on cd and I suspect this is part of a longer clip from a tv show or similar.
