Exam repertoire order
on: October 06, 2014, 11:59:51 AM
Hi all,

My teacher has encourage me to try playing my pieces in different order to see what pieces would feel right to follow each other. I've played around with the order but I still cannot make a decision to what feels right! It all feels right to me!

Here are my pieces that I'll be playing for an upcoming exam:

-Haydn Sonata XVI 38 in E flat major
-Debussy Prelude from Suite Bergermasque
-Cramer Studies in F minor no.16 + no.51
-Stravinsky Serenade in A - Cadenza Finale
-Scott Joplin Fig Leaf Rag

Now I definately want to start with the Haydn and end with the Rag.. it's only the pieces in between  that I'm finding it hard to make a decision!

Any suggestions will help!  :)
Keep that smile on that dial !

Hard to recommend the order, but you should consider to give sufficient break, especially between two pieces with huge contrasts of moods, styles, etc.
