Horowitz Scores
on: October 11, 2014, 03:36:05 AM
Hi everyone,

There used to be a website (vkgfx.com) with the scores of a large number of Horowitz transcriptions.  Unfortunately, I believe the owner ran into some issues with the Horowitz estate and was forced to take the site down.

Does anyone happen to have a saved copy of any of these scores, or know where I could obtain one?

@ cubsfan334

Have a look at waltercosand.com, "Scores" section. There must be something there by Horowitz too if I'm not mistaken.
No amount of how-to information is going to work if you have the wrong mindset, the wrong guiding philosophies. Avoid losers like the plague, and gather with and learn from winners only.

If they were forced to reve that would be because they are not to be illegally shared.  I would write the foundation to inquire about rights and process of requesting access to the score you are looking for.  Eymusually want to know the date time venue of the performance and also that you are not charging . If you charge you will need to negotiate on royalty payout etc.
