Take out some repeating and it's under 3 minutes... but why so short? 4 minutes is just fine.
This is de Falla's Ritual Fire Dance.

Again, about four minutes, and perhaps the arranger (Brassin) is too obscure? Wagner Magic Fire Music, played by Josef Hofmann (one of my absolute favourite piano recordings):

Let's try France first; there's the outer two numbers from Messiaen's Quatre études en rythme - Île de Feu I & Île de Feu II and, from just over a century earlier, l'Incendie au village voisin, no. 7 from Alkan's Douze études dans tous les tons majeurs, Op. 35 - oh, and of course Feux d'artifice, the last piece from Book 2 of Debussy's 24 Préludes. Next, to Scriabin's Russia with Vers la flamme, Op. 72 and Flammes Sombres, the second of Deux danses, Op. 73; I seem also to recall that someone made a piano transcription of Stravinsky's early orchestral work of the same title as the Debussy above but can't now find the information about that.

Best,

This piece is closer to 5-6 minutes, but Vers la Flamme (Scriabin) definitely meets your other requirements.  One of my favorite pieces.

I'm looking for a a short "fiery piece", as in, associated with fire.

Preferably:
- Less than 3 minutes long
- Programmatic and/or dramatic
- By a more "well known" composer
- Written post-1850
- Virtuosic

Thanks :)

Liszt's Feux Follets meets almost all your requirements...

I'd say the Prokofiev Toccata - it really sounds like a little flame that just gets completely out of hand... it gets extinguished, but starts spreading all over again.  I always picture this little flame slowly engulfing something huge when I hear this piece.
Interested in discussing:

-Prokofiev Toccata
-Scriabin Sonata 2
