How to go about very fast and long ornaments?
on: October 14, 2014, 02:12:04 AM
In many of the more difficult pieces, it is not uncommon to see just whole entire bars filled with 50 or so notes just because, why not.
What I want to know is how to go about practicing these very very fast ornaments. I already know the "start slow get faster" mentality and that's what I would normally apply to my practice, but I just want to know if there are other techniques so that my fingers don't drag across the keys but rather glide.
