That is weird because you are right-handed.
Have you tried doing it slowly and breaking the trill down? Play: 2-3, 3-2, 2-3-2, 3-2-3, ... do other fingers as well.
Maybe you have some unneccessary tension or force in your 'strong' hand/arm which is actually keeping you down, maybe you are 'trying' to hard if you know what I mean.

i have problems with trills using either hand but i also am 100% right handed but my left hand is stronger, faster, more flexible.  i played guitar before piano so that's the only thing i could think of.

No, this is good.

This will let you understand the details of how the trill is really done.

It's great to have something like this to show you the next step in your learning.

You can't trill with your right hand because you're doing it wrong.  It's a technique problem, not a strength or speed problem.  Most likely anyway.  Use the parallel sets, relax, let your forearm rotate, pay attention.

It sounds as if you have stronger fingers and more flexibility and control in one of your hands while the other is lagging behind somewhat.

The answer is to start slowly and gradually build up the speed of a trill.  Patience and practice is the key.

Well...........I'm not so sure.  A true trill can be slowed down to a mere rapid alternation of notes.  But the mechanism involved is not necessarily the same.  I think that's why people get faster for a while then hit a wall short of getting to the speed they want.

It all comes with practice over time. Patience and practice is the key.

When developing technique many people make the mistake of believing that they should practise one thing until it's there, and then practise another thing until it's there.  My students are prone to saying 'I only practised one piece instead of the two that you gave me because I wanted to get really good at one of them before practising the second.'  And I always say, no, don't do that, practise them both because the practise of one piece will help to improve the other.

And I feel it is a similar situation with anything, including trills.  The more you practise and the more you play, the better all aspects of your playing becomes.

You should develop rotational freedom in your right hand v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y for at least a couple of weeks. Watch this clip and learn:

Although trills depend on some finger activity, too much focus on speed, strength and articulation of individual units will slow you down instead.
No amount of how-to information is going to work if you have the wrong mindset, the wrong guiding philosophies. Avoid losers like the plague, and gather with and learn from winners only.

Awesome video, that's the best demonstration I've seen.
