Bravo! This is a splendid performance of a piece demanding the virtuoso's touch, and you supplied it in full measure. This is a wonderful performance.
In his lifetime Ravel set an objective for himself that whatever he composed for solo piano would also have an orchestral counterpart. And every orchestral work would likewise have a piano transcription, which was the origin of this piano solo, "La valse". There was a period when Ravel even hired one or two transcriptionists to assist him in this laborious endeavor. To a great extent he succeeded in reaching his goal. And all performing musicians have since benefitted.
Marvelous playing, Ariel! Keep up your hard work. All of it is appreciated.
