So here goes my first post in here :D

This is the newest piece I've been working on.

Would appreciate honest opinions, tips and suggestions.

Thanks!

No amount of how-to information is going to work if you have the wrong mindset, the wrong guiding philosophies. Avoid losers like the plague, and gather with and learn from winners only.

Aww, thank u @dima! Real intention, huh? Hehe, I'm flattered!  I have yet to let my piano teacher hear this tho, but unfortunately he is a little too preoccupied for us to meet any time soon! :(

It's great that there are forums like these to connect with others who share the common love for the piano :)

A lovely first effort, bbqu33n! One way you could enrich your interpretation is to pay attention to some of the inner-voice lines. When you repeat a section, for example, you could try to bring out hints of these lines, so that our ear can attend to something different the second time around. Think of yourself as a magician revealing little specks of light—subtle colors—that the listener didn't even realize were there the first time around. Schumann was a master at hiding gems in the inner voices.
