What's the rest of the world do on Thursday?
on: November 27, 2014, 04:26:40 AM
Thinking mainly non-US people/countries here.  We've got Thanksgiving.

What does everyone else do?

Normal workday in England?

Australia wouldn't even have some kind of "harvest" excuse.  It must be end of May/spring/summer weather down there.  That still floors me.  The whole calendar is upside down.  Or do Australians have some kind of harvest/Thanksgiving thing around May?  I don't remember hearing about many crops in Australia though...

Nope, nothing like that here...I guess people don't feel like they have much to thank for in this part of the world  ;D

There used to be some sort of harvest festivity in the late Autumn, but that has disappeared a long time ago...

Haha...
"Australia is a major agricultural producer and exporter."

Not sure I agree with that.  I haven't heard of them before... ::)

I don't think we get much of that here.  Australian wine, yes.  And actors.   I've heard of Australia exporting their actors.

You people spread your stuff everywhere but try exporting something to Australia...paranoid about letting anything into the country without being dead or radiated...  ::)
