See more than 10 most recent posts? [Bob asks]
on: December 04, 2004, 08:55:45 PM
Is there a way to view more than just the last 10 most recent posts?  Could I see the most recent 50 or 100?

Or, the just from that day, or the last time I logged on.

I tried doing a search for anything from 0 to 1 days ago, but I can't figure it out.  It won't do a search without a search word.  Even * doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Hello, Bob! ;D

I found a way  You use a period as a search word and then you can set the  time limit for the search

I mean, come on, who doesn't use a period in their posts?  ;)

In case they don't use periods, you could search for...
1.  punctuation . , ? ! and use the "match any word" search feature
2.  search for a letter, like "a"  (This is annoying to read though)

. , ? !    works well with "match any word"

or

.     for a quick search

Having the search feature display the whole message is good too.

I don't know what to think about that.  How do I remind you of Spatula?

Well, I came in here to say...

You could also search for smileys -- find out who's been posting smiles, winks, grins, eye rolling....

When Practice Stagnates – Breaking the Performance Ceiling: Robotic Training for Pianists

“Practice makes perfect” is a common mantra for any pianist, but we all know it’s an oversimplification. While practice often leads to improvement, true perfection is elusive. But according to recent research, a robotic exoskeleton hand could help pianists improve their speed of performing difficult pianistic patterns, by overcoming the well-known “ceiling effect”.
