How to spot a fake account

New account, but seems to know the forum already.  That's one.

Fake account meaning that it's someone on the forum who created another account for whatever reason.

I have wonders this too sometimes.  Does not bother me but I used thought curious until very recently I was in video games forum and I had trouble log in ( no recall password) and old email ties to it was a schools account and I was no student there so I create other log in and business as usual . Some thought was fake but I just could not access old.  I don't know I this happen here too much though but perhaps some? , a.m.  :D
