New Composition: Pandora's Box
on: December 05, 2014, 08:01:41 PM
I wrote this piece for the national PTA Arts Competition. My piece relates to the theme ‘The World Would Be a Better Place If…’ by showing a dark and gloomy part in the beginning where the world is not a peaceful, happy place. Then, it changes dramatically into a serene, pleasant section that shows a different world. The title “Pandora’s Box” relates to the theme because when Pandora opened the box, horrible things came out and the only thing left in the box was hope. The second part shows that hope remains.
Hope you like it!

Nice job, Mr Benford!
Keep up the good work, and don't cross over to the dark side, where they use computers to compose and play music.
Continue to study music theory with as much diligence as you apply to your practice, and one day you will be a household name!
Thank you for sharing.
