Ragtime
on: December 09, 2014, 08:29:14 PM
Hey everyone!
I was looking for some new music to play and also a possible end of concert 'show stopping' piece, if you will, that is not necessarily a Liszt etude or in that type of virtuosity. I have played many of the Joplin rags (The Entertainer, The Maple Leaf Rag, etc.) before and also some of William Bolcoms rags which are very cool. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a ragtime style piece that is less known but still a fun piece to perform and hear. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!
