20-21st century piece

Hi, I don't know if I will get Kapustin sheet  music, so does anyone have recommendatios for so-called "advanced" works by people who were born in the 20th century that are not atonal and have limited dissonance that I can get for free or for 12$ or less?  Thanks!

(No Poulenc, Ravel, Joplin, Debussy, Scriabin, etc.)

I should think not! They were all born in the 19th century!

Aram Kachaturian - He might have some stuff, I can only think of his Sonatina and Toccata for now.

There's a lot of stuff from a lot of composers, you can always look for them in IMSLP and they'll be free... look for Shostakovich's Preludes and Fugues and his 2nd Sonata in Bm.
