This work is so charming that, the first time i heard it, it immediately captured my ear. It also have certain chopin/scriabin quality in it.

(Planning on learning a few myself.)

(Side-note, I met koji on the pianoforum, then we started talking and he sent me some really rare recording. As a way to pay him back I sent him the complete score of Liadov. As excited as he was, I had no clue about Liadov's composition, I just had them. But then he kept telling me how wonderful these pieces are. In a way me and Koji's friendship is based on Liadov's composition.)

If I didn't know better, I would say this was Chopin..
A modern house without a flush toilet... uncanny.

If I didn't know better, I would say this was Chopin..

  The first one, in particular, I thought.  It sounds like a combo of Op. 25/1 and 2 to me (it was even suggested that I add on the final trill from the Op. 25/1 in the Liadov, haha).

A previously unknown manuscript by Frédéric Chopin has been discovered at New York’s Morgan Library and Museum. The handwritten score is titled “Valse” and consists of 24 bars of music in the key of A minor and is considered a major discovery in the wold of classical piano music. Read more
