Solo Recital Programme
on: December 31, 2014, 01:16:34 PM
Dear All,
(Merry Christmas & Happy New Year)
I have been asked to play in a solo recital in 5 weeks just for some of the local village.
I quickly choose this repertoire that I can already play:
Scarlatti Sonata F Minor K.466
Mozart Sonata 6 D Major 'Durmitz' 1st Mvt.
Chopin Impromptu 1 Ab
Do you think this is ok/suitable? I am a quick learner and have a relatively large solo repertoire so if you feel a different piece would be more appropriate then could you please suggest one.
The recital itself is only 30 mins & I am also playing French Horn.
Thanks very much for all your help.

Music is the greatest subsitute for words. In a life where we cannot succeed at work and we fail with women there is music which can tell anyone our words, words in which we want to scream but cannot!

May be it's better for you to check with the organisor to see if the audience has something preferred.
