Hi ahoffmann,
we've met before. I'm planning to do whole op. 10 this year.
No 1. I started from this one, the harderst part of it is before me - speeding it up. I can play it in the middle tempo and don't feel any problems with this. But speeding it up even a little causes many mistakes...
No 2. I tackled some years ago, so I know how to practice it and I remember the notes. Bringing it up to the tempo will be easier than the first one.
No 3.The third one is nice, probably it will be the last one.
No 4, 5. I'm lucky, because I performed no 4 and no 5 in the past, so I don't have to work on them much.
No 6. The same as no 3.
No 7. This one I'm scared off, because of musical challange.
No 8. I don't like this one.
No 9. This one I played, it's very nice. It will not take much time to recall it.
No 10. This one I'm doing now also. It's not to hard to memorize, there are a lot of patterns. Proper articulation is challange in this one. I have enough flexibility to play it.
No 11. This one has challanging pedal.
No 12. I performed it, so no problem here.
After I will half-finish no 1 and no 10, I'll start no 7 and no 8. I'll do my best to start them in February. It'll be great to work on this pieces in the company
