Hello Everyone, here is a recent Piano Prelude I wrote! I am a pianist myself but when it comes to my Preludes I go to my amazing pianist friend to perform my pieces.
This is the third and last prelude from my volume I of preludes. My main influences for this set of preludes were Bartok,Debussy and Chopin. Any criticism is welcome!

Good work, though I cannot detect any Chopin in here at all.

Thank you!
I definitely was not going for Chopin's harmonies per se, more of his structure and form. ABA and lyrical middle section.
The melody in the middle section repeats twice with a arpeggio-like left hand.

While offering a crucial outlet for female expression in societies where opportunities were often limited, it also became a stage for complex gender dynamics, sometimes subtle, sometimes stark. From drawing-room whispers in the 19th century to the thunderous applause of today’s concert halls, the story of women and the piano is a narrative woven with threads of remarkable progress and stubbornly persistent challenges.
