That's right, yet another one  ;) This has already been asked on You Tube wherever this video clip is, but zero replies so far. So, I wonder if anyone here knows what swing starts playing at about 0:35? Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_NzWUzstDg

Cheers!

It's an arrangement of Blutrote Rosen, if imdb is to be believed, which originally sounded like....

Thanks for the clip, old chap ;) but I actually meant the swing that starts playing at about 0:35. I've lately come to love a lot of Jelly Roll Morton and Fats Waller stuff, as well as some swing, and this one, well, it could hardly have more of a 'swingy' feeling to it 8) but I just have no idea whatsoever which one it might be...

I know what you meant. I don't know who did the arrangement, but that's the song. It was, apparently Addie and Evie's favourite song, and swing was banned as degenerate under the Nazis, so the combination is quite subversive.

I guess I'll just have to take your word for it then, because try as I might I just can't for the life of me find anything resembling that song in that swing!  :o

It's either quite an arrangement, or I really and utterly suck at recognizing a love song theme embedded in a swing...  :-[
