An update...
on: January 18, 2015, 10:21:38 PM
for anyone with a long memory...

Last US Thanksgiving day I got two finger (2 and 3 right hand) caught in some farm machinery... not good.  Like, dang near lost them completely.

Today for the first time I played a couple of my nocturnes!  It felt so good!  They sounded pretty horrible -- but they were there.  They will come back!

Just wanted to share my happiness!
Ian

That is good to hear. It must have been an anxious time. Losing or maiming a finger is surely
every pianists's worst nightmare. Being able to play again must be a life-affirming moment. I feel
your elation !
