Likely this, or aso something by this composer.  This is a powerful stunning piece.  Lauredsen is a musical genius and his music is described as "transcendental",  there is a documentary about this I'm trying to get
Is is consistently a goosebumps piece for me . Under right conditions can make me cry

Mozart or something similar, then I'd be happy to get away...

Not Liszt's Dante Symphony as a sort of last minute geography cram on your new home?  ;D

The Sun'll Come Out Tomorrow?
The Final Countdown?

Everyone listens to some 4'33" I suppose.

In reality it would be probably be in a hospital, with you laying in a bed, probably pretty zoned out, possibly not even able to hear anymore.  So on your deathbed it wouldn't matter.

So I'd go with a piece of music I like sometime before the deathbed part.

Which also bring up a very real point... At some point, there will be a last piece of music you listen to.  But you probably wouldn't realize it's the last piece of music you'll ever hear at the time... Probably a good thing if you really wanted to enjoy it, at least normally.

How about Wagner's Ring Cycle?  The whole thing.  And then I'd ask for an encore.

Exactly what I was going to say.  Or maybe Parsifal.

Probably something where you die when there's just an extra short coda section left... Except then you miss out hearing the whole piece, which stinks.  It depends who you want the listening experience for.

And then... It's probably going to be a bit awkward if the piece ends and you're still alive.  A bit of pressure there.  "You want me to play it again?  Maybe... Should I start from the middle somewhere this time?"
