I am glad you realize this is not Chopin though the opening arpeggios due resemble his style the harmonic dissonances in this piece are much different from those he employed. This piece sound to me like something by a Russian composer as it has traits similar to that of Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff. Though the both wrote Romances one in f-moll and one in as-dur neither of these are the one you presented. Where did you find this recording?

Not Chopin, but definitely Chopin-influenced. Probably Russian - but not Tchaikovsky or Rachmaninov. I was thinking Arensky or Bortkiewicz but could not find evidence. Searched my
pdf collection but could not find anything matching. Intriguing ! It's a good piece, I'd love to know what it is.

I said it sounded like a mixture of the two.

Nope, those are not it. Good discovery though - I'd never heard Albanian piano music.
I was also thinking Liadov. But I have his complete works and there's no Romance in it.

Will see what I can find on the op
It's a good question to ask though. Even with pieces thought accredited to properly
Like this thing. Everyone thought for the longest it was by Freddy's doing.  Nope. Was Mayer's work. There is good description and background if you click into the YouTube as read video description

That's a beautiful piece.  By the use of harmony I would rule out the pillars.  The run section in the latter part of it closely resembles Chopin's first Scherzo.  I'm familiar with Bortkiewicz, but I don't hear him in this.

Sorry, but this one is fakery, although well done.  The piece was "transmitted" by Chopin to one L.B. in 2007.  It appears on this CD set:

I don't know if a score was ever released as were many of the Rosemary Brown pieces.  Can anyone identify L.B.?

Oh dear, occult stuff. That looks like one very strange collection of fakeries and vagaries.
Fake or not, I think it's a good piece which no composer would have been ashamed of.
