New Composer
on: January 30, 2015, 04:16:42 PM
Hi, my name is Jérémie Lhomme. I want to become a composer and hopefully make a living out of it. I was on my way to become a mathematician or something like that but completely changed my mind and went for composer instead :) . I really hope you guys will like it and any feedback will be well received  ;) . Thank you for reading that and I hope you will enjoy listening to it !

You're extremely talented! I might not be the best judge, but I like what I heard, especially the fantasia and dancing waltz

If you're really into composing miniatures i suggest you look into (and study) the music of Liadov. I'm not sure if you'll like it (because it's classical) but I think you can benefit a lot from it.

And Bortkowiecz, and Scriabin (he composed a sh*t-ton of miniaturestoo)...and I don't have to mention Chopin since that's kind of obvious. Take a look into their (Scriabin and Chopin) mazurkas and preludes. Some last for 3mins and others are as brief as 30 seconds, but i think it's some of the best works in classical piano...
