Hi everyone,
I'd like to share my recording of Liszt's Les Jeux d'eaux à la Villa d'Este. It is such a beautiful piece and although I learnt this a few years back I always keep coming back to it.
This recording is from when I first learnt (and performed it) so listening back there are things I believe I would do differently now so any comments/criticisms are very welcome

Hi! Well done, I think you master this piece pretty well. Isn't it a lovely piece? One of my favorites too..
I think what you could think of is rendering all the tremolos (especially in the beginning : 1:03 and on) less metric and more of a "sparkling" effect. Then you could also do a more "lyrical" phrasing and more "freedom" with the melody in the left hand (1:26 and on).
But congratulations, I'm pretty sure the piece has advanced also a lot since this recording!

Thanks eusebius :)
Yes... my dreaded left hand.. I can never seem to make it play as melodically as my RH and it doesn't feel as natural. Not sure if this is just my technique lacking or that I don't do it enough. My piano teacher used to jokingly say that left-handed pianists are the best pianists :P she was left-handed after all.
