I don't get it...

There's a lot more Liszt and a lot more Symphonies. Which one you want?

Liszt wrote a Faust Symphony too, if you're looking for both together.

There's a Tausig arrangement of this for solo piano apparently. No one has approached this from what i noticed, or the entire Stradal for that matter. Anyone knows of this?

Beethoven-Alkan, concerto 3
Faure barcarolle 10
Mozart-Stradal, symphony 40

What are symphonies

1. An elaborate musical composition for full orchestra, typically in four movements, at least one of which is traditionally in sonata form.

it's the DANTE's Purgatory symphony... the Faust is different, isn't it?

it's the DANTE's Purgatory symphony

No. Purgatorio is the second of the two "movements".

... the Faust is different, isn't it?

In just about every way imaginable.

And I still have no idea what you're attempting to find out.

I wonder what conclusions do you expect to get from the Liszt vs Dante Symphony poll...

this is really nice; thank you; if you've got some other 'dramatic' orchestral/symphonic pieces, please do tell.
