Afraid of my keyboard
on: March 03, 2015, 09:07:24 PM
Is this natural? Is it strange to actually be afraid of even touching my keyboard?
I've been play this pop gig for well over a month now, and tonight I couldn't even bring myself to touch my keys because I was so afraid of making a mistake. My bandleader has been bullying my into playing just like the karaoke track we play with (yeah, we play with a karaoke track, it flippin' blows) and now I'm at the point where I'm so scared to touch my keys that I can't play anymore, out of fear of not playing like the track.
Has anyone experienced this? Am I going crazy?

Why dont you let the karaoke machine do all the job? You and your bandmates can sit in the bar instead!
