Tempest Comments
on: March 12, 2015, 11:22:08 PM
Hi guys,

I played the tempest sonata for my teacher (first movement) - have just learnt it so he stopped me midway for some comments.

Do you think I should play it for my student recital in May? Just the first movement - I was thinking of doing some other pieces too..

I understand there are some wrong notes, but I'd like to know how to improve.

Best regards

Nice playing!  :)  You need to place the microphon closer the piano

Not bad for having just learnt it! well done :)
Just a few suggestions though, the LH could have a little more oomph when it has the melody (those ascending broken chords) , especially the first time it comes in and in the development section it is quit soft! And something is up with your rhythm at b55-58... I think you are adding an extra beat on the accented chord?
