Two Russian colossi, one with his body beneath the soil, the other with his body upright like a gorilla.

Which is harder?

Carmen Fantaisie (Bizet/Horowitz)

Or...

Turkish March (Mozart/Volodos)

Two questions:

1.) Which performance do you prefer?
2.) Which is harder to learn?

Thanks.  :)

I learned Volodos' Turkish March recently, and it took me around two days to learn the notes and bring it up to respectable speed. It's very entertaining, but there's not much of a musical merit to it; it's really just a showy piece with some tricky parts but it's not too difficult compared to pieces where both musicality and technique is required.
