Easy Piano Variations?
on: March 22, 2015, 07:25:57 PM
I want to learn a piece that includes a theme and however many number variations on piano. Mozart's Twinkle Twinkle Variations are too difficult for me and I can't seem to find easier ones. I am in RCM grade 7 so I am an intermediate piano player. Any suggestions for easy(ier) piano variations are greatly appreciated, thanks.  :)

"Never be afraid to play before an artist.
The artist listens for that which is well done,
the person who knows nothing listens for the faults." (T. Carreño, quoting her 2nd teacher, Gottschalk.)

These are awesome… Already played them and I really enjoyed it. However (I don't know your system) for a seven grade I think their easy. Take a look.

Hi.

If you want to get a little bit more out of the line of classical variations, you might want to take a look at Bach's (!) Aria Variatia alla maniera Italia in A minor, BWV 989. It's a wonderfull set of ten variations which aren't that hard to play.

BW,
Marijn
