VIDEO: Op 64 No 1 "Minute Valse" My rendition.
on: March 30, 2015, 01:16:44 AM
Hi community, i've been lurking on this forums since long time ago but now I've decided to make an account and this is the first post i'm doing.

I really want to improve my playing so I would appreciate any critic about the video. I intend to upload all the material i'm working at the conservatory.

This is my own piano: it's really heavy (which I find very usefull for training endurance) therefore for some pieces like this it's a real pain to make all the fast passages lightly

Nice job, with some really interesting ideas in places. Mind the timing at the start of the B section - there's a bit where you add an extra beat.

Your piano needs tuning, or you need to adjust your recording settings - it sounds a bit tinny.

Thanks for the reply!
I've tuned last year on september, it actually sounds tinny but i think it has no solution (it was a really cheap piano I bought) Maybe I need to put the mic closer to the strings.

Not experienced with recording myself, but if you use the forum search function there's quite a bit of information posted about getting it right.
