The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more

Wow, you played it fast :) I enjoyed your performance!
I even think I might start on this etude myself some time soon:-)
Actually, one of Moszkowski's etudes is currently on my plate right now, too.
Looking forward to your next perfomance.

I'd say the only thing about this (and being reeeeeally critical), is just to make the (I presume demisemiquavers) just a little more delicate, a little more fluttering...

However no one can deny you clearly have the technique for this piece, but if it was performed like that, one would be convinced your goal was to show them how fast you can play, but not how beautiful you can play it.

Thank you for your comment! :)

My main idea at that moment was, and still is, to pass as many pieces as i can. I am trying to get back in shape again, after so many years working on a ship haha :D Anyway, i appreciate your comment. Thank you! :)
