Schnittke - 6 Preludes
on: April 28, 2015, 07:35:07 PM
Hi. This is my first post on this forum, so I hope, that I'm putting this subject in right place.

Some time ago I've found this fabulous music on Youtube.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YY5hlw0-EgA (couldn't add proper youtube link for some reason)
Since then I've been looking for sheet music, but failed to find it. Nothing on the web, nothing in stores or libraries. I've asked my friends studying piano in difrent places in Europe (Berne, Vienna, Warsaw, even Hamburg where Schnittke lived for some time) and thay told me, that any of libraries that they've cheked, don't have it.

So here I am, hoping for Your help.

Greets ;)

i have some of Alfred Garriyevich's work but the preludes do not ring a bell. I will check my soviet folder on my other hard drive later and respond back then. However, his music would almost certainly be copyright so doubtful/highly so that I could post if i do have.

Ok... I've just found information that those preludes were quite recently discovered (2009?) and Drosostalitsa Moraiti, whose recording I've linked, played it from manuscript. So I'm losing my hope now.
